In a devastating incident, five Nepalese pilgrims returning from the Maha Kumbh Mela lost their lives in a road accident on Saturday in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district. The tragedy occurred on a four-lane bypass in Madhubani, where a Scorpio SUV, carrying nine members of the same family, swerved to avoid a biker performing dangerous stunts. The vehicle hit the divider and flipped five times before coming to a halt.

The accident claimed the lives of three women, two men, and the driver, identified as Archana Thakur, Indu Devi, Mantarni Devi, Bal Krishna Jha, and the driver. Four others, including a child, sustained severe injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital in Muzaffarpur.
