BJP’s Bihar President Dilip Jaiswal Resigns as Minister
Earlier in the day, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal announced his resignation as Revenue Minister. Explaining his decision, he stated:
“One person, one post” is the principle of our party. I am grateful to the central leadership for entrusting me with the responsibility of the state unit. Cabinet expansion is the Chief Minister’s prerogative.”
High-Level Discussions Before Expansion
Sources revealed that Union Minister JP Nadda and CM Nitish Kumar held multiple discussions regarding the Bihar cabinet expansion. The process was finalized only after the BJP central leadership approved the list of new ministers.
