Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar on May 4, 2025, to open the Khelo India Youth Games 2025. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar shared this exciting news during a special event held at the CM Secretariat.
Bihar Prepares to Host Khelo India 2025
While addressing the gathering, Nitish Kumar said that hosting this event is a great chance for Bihar to improve its sports facilities and support young talent.
“It’s a proud moment for Bihar. The Prime Minister’s visit and the games will inspire thousands of young athletes and help us grow sports in the state,” he said.
Official Mascot ‘Shubhankar’ and Logo Unveiled
At the event, the Khelo India logo and the official mascot ‘Shubhankar’ were unveiled. The ceremony marked the start of preparations for the games, which are just weeks away.
Over 10,000 People to Take Part in the Games
The event will see more than 8,500 athletes and 1,500 technical staff from across India. They will compete in several sports between May 4 and May 15, 2025.
These games will be held in five districts of Bihar:
Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Bhagalpur, and Begusarai.
