🔥 Tejashwi Triggers Assembly Uproar
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav stirred controversy in the Bihar Assembly by saying Union Home Minister Amit Shah no longer trusts Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He asked the BJP to openly declare Nitish as their CM face for the 2025 election and beyond.
🎯 “Prove Your Support for Nitish”
Tejashwi challenged Shah to back Nitish publicly during his next visit to Sitamarhi. “If the BJP trusts him, they should say he will remain CM till 2030,” he said.
🚗 NDA Is a “Worn-Out Government”
Calling the NDA government a “rickety car”, Tejashwi said it had lost purpose after 20 years in power. He mocked the alliance, saying, “Even old vehicles are removed after 15 years.”
🤐 Nitish Silent, BJP in Control
Tejashwi accused Nitish of staying quiet on Bihar’s key issues. He said Nitish failed to demand a special package from the Centre. “JD(U) is now just a small part of the BJP,” he added.
🔍 Nepotism and ‘RSS Quota’ Claims
Yadav hit out at JD(U) leader Ashok Choudhary. He said Choudhary’s son-in-law got a government role due to a recommendation from the RSS. “People now talk about an RSS quota in jobs,” he said, mocking the alliance as National Damaad Aayog (Commission for Sons-in-law).
⚡ Power Promise Is a Copy
Yadav criticized Nitish’s plan for 125 units of free electricity. He claimed the idea was copied from the RJD’s offer of 200 free units and women’s stipends under the Maai Bahen Yojana.
⚠️ Voter List ‘Fraud’
Tejashwi warned of issues in the voter list revision process (SIR). He said polling officials were throwing forms on roads and filing FIRs against reporters. “This is a fraud meant to remove voters,” he alleged. He warned the RJD may boycott elections if the process continues.
😠 Assembly Turns Chaotic
NDA MLAs reacted strongly. One MLA pulled out a mic and rushed toward the opposition. The Speaker suspended the session to control the situation.
💬 “They Tried to Attack Me”
Later, Tejashwi said BJP MLAs used foul language and tried to assault him. “Only my party colleagues stopped them,” he said.
🔫 “I’ll Surrender My Weapon If Needed”
Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha accused RJD of having “contract killing in its DNA.” Tejashwi responded, “I’m ready to give up my licensed weapon. The government can kill me if that helps.”
🗨️ JD(U) Hits Back
Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan) said RJD’s threat to boycott elections showed they were afraid of losing. “They know the truth has come out,” he added.
