The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has taken a major step to modernize the Education Department by launching a new E-Transfer Policy. The initiative aims to make all teacher transfers and postings transparent, fair, and fully digital.
Automatic Transfers During Vacations
Under the new policy, transfers will take place automatically during the summer and winter vacations. This change will help schools run smoothly throughout the academic year. Moreover, it will reduce unnecessary delays and allow teachers to plan ahead with confidence.
Recruitments Through Public Service Commission
The government announced that new hiring will only be conducted through the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC). Therefore, all upcoming recruitments will follow a strict merit-based process. In addition, transfers will mainly apply to employees awaiting promotion or special appointments, ensuring fair consideration for everyone.
Dedicated E-Transfer Portal to Ensure Merit
Education Minister Arshad Ayub Khan explained that the new E-Transfer System will promote accountability and transparency. The system will operate through a dedicated online portal where teachers can apply, track, and confirm their transfer requests directly.
He also noted that this digital system will remove favoritism and manual interference from the process. As a result, teachers across KP will experience a more efficient and fair posting system.
