An Indian boy living in Dubai has been honored by the Dubai Police for his exemplary honesty in returning a lost watch. Muhammad Ayan Younis found the watch in a busy tourist area while with his father and immediately handed it over to the authorities. The police verified the watch’s ownership and traced it back to a tourist who had reported it missing before returning to his home country. Thanks to their diligent efforts, the precious item was returned to its rightful owner.
Younis received an award from Brigadier Khalfan Obeid Al Jallaf, director of the Tourist Police Department, in a ceremony attended by Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Abdul Rahman and Captain Shahab Al Saadi, head of the Tourist Happiness section. This event highlighted the young boy’s commendable character and integrity.
The Dubai Police shared the news on their official X account, where it garnered around 5,000 views. Brigadier Al Jallaf praised Younis’s actions, emphasizing that they reflect the moral values and high security standards of the UAE, particularly in its crucial tourism sector.
